Surrounded by greenery in one of Moscow’s most coveted neighborhoods, this penthouse opens to calm views of the river and the city beyond. Arched windows and six-metre plaster ceilings shape a contemporary interior defined by simple forms, generous light, and understated beauty.
Soft, sculptural silhouettes of the furniture are paired with intricate woodcarving that runs through key pieces—from the dining table to the bar and sideboard. A restrained palette and tactile materials create a serene atmosphere, while details like a bar cabinet adorned with mischievous monkeys bring a sense of individuality to the project.
The living room flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining area, designed with both family life and entertaining in mind. The kitchen, with wooden fronts and arched lines that echo the architecture of the space, feels open yet remains highly functional—with ample storage, a generous work surface, and thoughtful organization.
The dining room became one of the project’s key spaces. Microcement floors set a calm backdrop for the scalloped solid-wood table and carved chairs to stand out. Curiosity cabinets and a coffee nook bring both character and everyday ease to the space. Soft rice paper pendants bring a gentle glow, and the white walls quietly frame the art.
The layout of the penthouse is defined by two distinct zones: a spacious open area for gathering and a private wing with bedrooms. At its center, a circular space designed for flowers and art becomes a focal point, gently linking the interior as a whole.
In the same area sits a guest bathroom, its walls clad in natural fiber wallpaper that lends the space a rich, tactile mood.
The master bedroom leads into a large bathroom designed as a place to relax and unwind. Microcement surfaces create a cocoon-like feeling, while a jacuzzi with smooth, sculptural lines becomes the centerpiece.
In this project, the children’s bedrooms became a reflection of their young inhabitants’ personalities and interests. Each one is filled with vivid colors and distinctive details—from a sports corner to a neon wall sign, bold shades, or striking decorative accents. These spaces are designed to nurture the children’s passions and allow them to feel truly at home in their own world.
And the cherry on top is a play area, cozily tucked away in the penthouse attic.
